The Coach Geno Foundation, Inc is an approved 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization created in July 2022 to honor the Legacy of Eugene “Coach Geno” Himes (AAHS Class of '75). The purpose of the foundation is to support youth sports and local leagues, support the community that Coach Geno cherished, and provide scholarships to graduating seniors who are pursuing education beyond high school.
1. Scholarships are limited to high school seniors from Blair County who will be attending college or technical school in the Fall term in the year of high school graduation.
2. Applicant has shown determination for classroom academic achievement.
3. Applicant has shown Integrity, Leadership, Respect and Honor
4. No candidate shall be denied being a recipient of a scholarship on the basis of race, creed, sex, religion, national origin, or any other basis which is prohibited by Section 501 (C) (3) of The Internal Revenue Code.
